Cell Phone/Electronic Device Policy

Electronic Devices (EDs)

While students may possess and use EDs on campus for instructional purposes, they should understand that there are appropriate and inappropriate uses of EDs. Cell phones and ear buds/headphones are not to be used in halls or sidewalks between classes. Inappropriate use of electronic devices will result in the actions described below:

1st offense $10 fine

2nd offense $20 fine

3rd & subsequent $40 fine, device must be picked up by a parent/guardian

 All phones/electronic devices will be picked up during school hours.

If electronic devices and/or headphones are needed for classroom instruction, they will be provided by the teacher. At no time should student phones be used between classes. Personal electronic devices may be used before and after school and during the student’s lunch period.
